Things Can You Sell To Pay For Traveling Around Europe ?
Once I at long last determined that I’d be doing that long trip abroad that I’d been mentally planning of for ages (and right after I’d already booked the flights).
Something occurred to me. Now how specifically are we going to Fund this vagabonding?
backpacking costs cash, plus a large quantity of backpacking is going to cost a large quantity of cash. (see how I used maths there? clever hey.)
Considering I’m starting our excursion in Thailand, any added money I can put aside will make a true distinction towards the length of my excursion. (you’ll be able to simply reside in Southeast Asia for as small as thirty per day)
Why don’t I sell my old mobile phone on ebay? I don’t use it. It just sits in my house collecting dust.
And I have obtained these old motorcycle boots that I haven’t used for like five many years – they’re able to go too!
And after that I asked myself the query…
Specifically how many obsolete personal objects do I own, and how many of em could be useful to someone else?
& that’s how it started…
Upon close inspection my office wardrobe, the guest bedroom, my bedroom cupboard & the garage were all full.
Every single square centimeter of devoted storage In my property was packed full of things that I by no means use anymore.
I bought these objects once, so that they must have extra value to my existence at a single level soon enough, So then surely they are going to include value to someone else’s existence too?
Therefore could sell them!
So I took some pictures from the things I wanted to sell, opened my ebay account, and started loading up stuff on the market.
I paid for some of the gear I needed to take backpacking with me – like my hiking pack, all with the money I made from selling a few that were sitting around my house
As an example
Clothing
Old Mobile Phones
Sports Gear
Awesome. I just paid for my Hiking Bag, with money I got from stuff I would have saved in packing containers for 12 months had I not sold it. (bear in mind, each and every bit of gear sold today – would be really worth even less in 12 months time)
So that’s how I paid cash for my travel pack to go travelling. I got rid of stuff that were using valuable room in my house, and now I have even much less objects to box and put in storage (and think of) whilst I’m away.
The true query is… What’s it that you’ve been storing for many years?
Odds are no matter what it is, A person, Someplace, Will desire to acquire it – and partly pay for your next abroad Adventure.
