I’m sure this is a very nice place to stay, but I can’t see why anyone would want to stay in Nathon instead of going to the beaches. I know the town is great for shopping and eating, and there are plenty of bars too but personally I would recommend to anyone that hasn’t been to Koh Samui to base themselves at one of the island’s beautiful beaches.
I love Koh Samui (and Koh Phangan) – though my favourite islands are the Whitsunday Islands in Australia – and I hope to get back there in the near future. I usually stay at Lamai Beach, though Mae Nam was nice too when I stayed there and it’s a bit quieter too.
Anyway, it’s always nice to read about Samui!
